How to Measure Your Gutter for GutterBrush
- Set a ladder safely and run a tape measure straight across the top opening of the gutter, front lip to back wall.
- Note the width in inches or centimetres — that number is your GutterBrush size.
- Measure the length of every run you want to protect and add them together.
Most Canadian houses have 5″ (12.7 cm) gutters. Mobile homes and carports are often 4″; newer builds and metal-roof homes often 6″; shops, barns and warehouses 7″ or 8″.

How Many Feet of GutterBrush Should I Order?
Add up every gutter run, then round up to the nearest kit (or combination of kits). Every box comes in 3 ft (91 cm) sections plus two 18″ (46 cm) filler pieces, and a section can be folded back on itself — so you never need to cut it.
- Bungalow, 5″ gutters, 104 ft total → one 105 ft kit
- Carport, 4″ gutter, 20 ft → one 24 ft kit
- Two-storey home, 6″ gutters, 56 ft → one 60 ft kit
