GutterBrush Sizing Questions
What size GutterBrush do I need?
Measure straight across the top opening of your gutter. That width — 4″, 5″, 6″, 7″ or 8″ — is your size. See the size guide.
What size are most Canadian house gutters?
5″ (12.7 cm) K-style is the most common on Canadian homes. Mobile homes and carports often use 4″; newer and metal-roof homes often use 6″.
How many feet should I order?
Add up the length of every run and round up to the nearest kit or combination of kits.
How GutterBrush Performs
How does GutterBrush work?
The brush fills the gutter so leaves rest on top, dry out and blow away, while water passes through the bristles to the downspout.
Does GutterBrush stop pine needles and seeds?
It stops leaves and larger debris well. Needles and small seeds can catch in the top of the brush but generally stay up there to dry and blow off. Under heavy pines, plan on an occasional shake-out.
Does GutterBrush work in Canadian winters?
Yes. Keeping the trough open helps meltwater drain, and the black bristles absorb sun to help ice along the gutter melt. It isn't a substitute for proper attic insulation and ventilation, which is the main defence against ice dams.
Is GutterBrush maintenance-free?
No gutter guard is. When needed, lift sections out, shake or hose them off, and set them back.
Will it keep birds and pests out?
It removes the open trough birds, wasps and rodents like to nest in.

Will it void my roof warranty?
GutterBrush sits inside the gutter and doesn't attach to or lift your roofing.
Do I have to cut it?
No. Each box includes 3 ft sections and two 18″ fillers, and a section can be folded back on itself for a custom length.
