Some gutters are just too narrow for a standard gutter guard: the slim troughs on manufactured homes, cedar wood gutters on older cottages and heritage homes, and small drainage channels on pergolas and patio covers. The 2.25 Inch Channel Flow Guard is the smallest brush GutterBrush makes, built to fill those narrow channels and keep them flowing.

Where the 2.25 Inch GutterBrush Fits

  • Narrow gutters on manufactured and mobile homes
  • Cedar and other wood gutters on cottages and heritage homes
  • Small drainage channels on pergolas, patio covers and sunrooms
  • Any trough narrower than a standard 4″ gutter

Size check: if your gutter measures about 4″ across the top, the 4 Inch GutterBrush (3.25″ brush) is the better fit. The 2.25″ brush is for channels narrower than that.

How to Install the Channel Flow Guard

  1. Clean the channel once so you're starting clear.
  2. Slide 3 ft pieces in end to end, filling the channel. No fasteners.
  3. Bend around corners by hand, or fold a piece back on itself for a shorter length.
  4. Check after the first heavy rain that water reaches the outlet.

2.25 Inch Channel Flow Guard FAQs

How many 3 ft pieces do I need?

Measure the total length of your channel in feet and divide by 3, rounding up. A 20 ft run needs 7 pieces.

Will it work on wood gutters?

Yes. Nothing is screwed or glued in, so it won't damage cedar or other wood gutters.

Is it maintenance-free?

No gutter guard is. When it needs attention, lift the pieces out, shake or hose them off, and set them back.

Will I pay duties?

No. Orders ship from Paris, Ontario, priced in Canadian dollars.

Not Sure It's Small Enough?

Send a photo of the channel with a tape measure across it and we'll tell you whether the 2.25″ or 3.25″ brush fits best.
