6 Inch GutterBrush Gutter Guard
GutterBrush Canada · 6″ Oversized
Oversized 6″ (15.2 cm) gutters are everywhere in Canada now — on newer builds, steel buildings and metal-roof homes designed to move serious rain and snowmelt. They catch more water, and more leaves. The 6 Inch GutterBrush fills them with a heavy-duty brush that keeps debris out while water flows freely underneath. No tools, no nails, no drilling.

Why the 6 Inch GutterBrush Works on Oversized Canadian Gutters
- Sized for the bigger trough: a 5.25″ (13.3 cm) brush that fills a 6″ gutter properly — a 5″ brush would leave gaps.
- Handles heavy flow: water passes straight through the bristles, so big gutters keep their capacity.
- Nothing fastened to the roof: ideal on metal roofs where you don't want extra penetrations.
- Bends by hand around corners and returns.
- Lift out to clean — shake off, drop back in.
- Keeps critters out of the open trough.
Which Canadian Gutters the 6 Inch GutterBrush Fits
- Oversized 6″ (15.2 cm) K-style and half-round gutters
- Fascia-style and custom eavestroughs on newer builds and metal-roof homes
- Any roof type — asphalt shingle, cedar shake, slate, tile, rubber or metal
Quick size check: measure straight across the top opening. 6″ (15.2 cm) = this product. Standard 5″ house gutters take the 5 Inch; 7″ commercial box gutters take the 7 Inch.
How Much 6 Inch GutterBrush Do I Need?
- Measure each gutter run in feet (or metres × 3.28).
- Add the runs together.
- Round up: up to 36 ft = one 36 ft box; 37–60 ft = one 60 ft box; longer, combine boxes (e.g. 96 ft = 60 + 36).
Example: a home with two 28 ft eaves = 56 ft → one 60 ft kit.
6 Inch GutterBrush vs Ice Dams and Canadian Freeze-Thaw
A clogged gutter holds standing water that freezes solid, feeding ice dams and icicles at the eaves. GutterBrush keeps the trough open so meltwater can drain, and its black UV-treated bristles absorb heat on sunny days to help snow and ice along the gutter line melt sooner.

6 Inch GutterBrush FAQs
How do I know if I have 6 inch gutters?
Measure straight across the top opening. If it's 6″ (15.2 cm) — common on newer builds, steel buildings and metal-roof homes — this is your size. Send us a photo if you're unsure.
Can I put 5 inch GutterBrush in a 6 inch gutter?
It will leave gaps that let debris past the brush. Match the brush to the gutter for full coverage.
Does GutterBrush work on metal roofs with snow guards?
Yes. It sits inside the gutter with no fasteners, so it doesn't interfere with metal roofing or snow retention.
Does GutterBrush stop pine needles?
It stops leaves and larger debris well. Needles and seeds can catch in the top of the brush but generally stay up there to dry and blow off; under heavy pines, plan on an occasional shake-out.
Will GutterBrush prevent ice dams?
It helps by keeping the trough open so meltwater can drain, but ice dams are mainly caused by heat loss through the roof. It isn't a substitute for proper attic insulation and ventilation.
Where does my order ship from — will I pay duties?
