- After the first heavy rain, check that water is draining freely at each outlet.

How do I know if I need the 5″ or 6″ version?
Measure across the top opening of your gutter. Most Canadian houses are 5″. If you're unsure, the residential sample pack lets you test in your own gutter.
Do I still need gutter guards on the rest of the gutter?
Downspout guards keep the outlets open, but leaves can still collect along open stretches. For full protection, fill the whole run with a 5 Inch or 6 Inch GutterBrush kit.
Will they stay put in wind and storms?
Yes. The brush sits inside the trough below the gutter lip and is held by the gutter itself.
